I Introduction
- These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided electronically at jjpbiologics.com Website.
- The Service Provider shall provide the Services on the Website in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Each User is obliged to read and comply with these Terms and Conditions before using the Services.
- The Terms and Conditions also contain information regarding the processing of personal data and the use of cookies or other similar technologies. The information contained in the Terms and Conditions applies to the Services provided on the Website.

II Definitions
In the Rules, the following terms have the following meanings:
- Researcher, Researchers – researchers, and academics working with the Service Provider
- Website Cookies Policy – jjpbiologics.com Website Cookies Policy available at the Website footer
- JJP Biologics Privacy Policy – JJP Biologics’ Privacy Policy available at the footer of the Website
- Social Media – the Service Provider’s fan page on LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com), the Service Provider’s channel on youtube.com (youtube.com), and other fan pages operated by the Service Provider on Social Media, to which links are provided on the Website
- Website – the website, including all content and Services provided at jjpbiologics.com and all subpages of the Website
- Service, Services – the services provided electronically on the Website by the Service Provider, described in these Terms and Conditions
- Service Provider – JJP Biologics Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Bobrowiecka 6, 00-728 Warsaw, entered in the National Register of Companies under number: 608696, tax ID: 5252652578
- User – anyone who accesses the Website, navigates the Website, reads the information contained on the Website, or uses other Services provided on the Website.
III Commencement and termination of the Service
- The Website provides content delivery Services of various types and other Services.
- By opening any of the pages, sub-pages of the Website in the domain jjpbiologics.com, the User starts using the Services in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
- The first time the User visits the Website, a window is displayed with information on the use of cookies. You must read the information in order to be able to start using the Website.
- The Service’s footer contains links to the documents of the Service, in particular to the Terms and Conditions, the Website’s Privacy Policy, and the Website’s Cookies Policy. The User has unrestricted access to the aforementioned documents at any time, from any place on the Website, and may freely copy their content.
- To terminate your use of the Website, you must close all tabs of the browser you use to access the Website.
- The following section of the Terms and Conditions provides detailed information on the individual Services and the conclusion and termination of the contract for their provision.
IV Services available on the Website and the technical conditions for their use
- The following Services are available on the Website:
- Provision of content, articles, and videos
- Contact form
- Newsletter subscription form
- Section “They wrote about us”
- Social Media plug-ins by Service Provider.
- The Services are available in two language versions: Polish and English.
- The Services are available on any device that meets the following conditions, e.g. computer, laptop, smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, smart TV.
- In order to use the Website, the following technical conditions must be met:
- access to a web browsing device;
- an up-to-date browser such as Google Chrome Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, Microsoft Edge, which allows connections via HTTPS and the use of functional cookies;
- an active Internet connection enabling two-way communication.
- In order to use some of the content available on the Website, it is also necessary:
- Java script;
- possibility to use Adobe services;
- acceptance of additional cookies (e.g. for displaying youtube.com content).
- Some Services require additional conditions. We have included the relevant information in the sections relating to each Service.
- The type of browser, operating system, and cookie settings may affect the availability or display of some content. This is due to the technical dependencies of the functioning of the websites. The Service Provider does not make the use of particular Services dependent on the use of a particular browser, operating system, or cookies. In order to use all the functionalities of the Website, the Service Provider requires the use of cookies only.
V Content, journal articles and video delivery services on the Website
- The main purpose of the Website is to publish content relating to:
- the activities of the Service Provider, including its portfolio
- the Service Provider’s products
- the Service Provider’s current projects
- cooperation with the Service Provider
- projects carried out in cooperation with/funded by the Medical Research Agency and other research, scientific or partnership/cooperation projects, in accordance with the rules of the project concerned
- Service Provider researchers and their research
- industry information, news
- biographies of the Service Provider’s Management Staff.
- The content provided on the Website may take the form of:
- the written content published on the Website
- scientific articles published on the Website;
- links to scientific articles by scientists or other authors published on other websites – using the link redirects the User to the website of another service provider, directly to the given article. The Service Provider places links to relevant articles and content from other sources on the Website, taking due care to ensure that these links come only from verified portals and contain the content referred to on the Website. However, the Service Provider shall not be liable for the actions and omissions of other websites, including the operation of the links (provided that they have been placed correctly on the Website) and for any change in the content under the respective link. Please inform us of any irregularities in the operation of links posted on the Website;
- video and vlogs displayed on the Website – the video content is published on the provider’s channel on the youtube.com platform, and linked on the Website so that Users can view the content without having to change the Website. The display of video content may involve the use of cookies from the provider of the youtube.com platform. This is beyond the control of the Service Provider, the Service Provider does not have access to information from youtube.com cookies. If the User is not able to view the video content or has not consented to the use of cookies of the youtube.com platform, the User may still use the remaining content posted directly on the Website.
- Information on current job vacancies with the Service Provider or offers of cooperation may also be posted on the Website. The submission of applications and offers does not take place on the Website. Each advertisement specifies the relevant mode of application.
VI Contact form contained in the Website
- The Contact form is used to send text messages to the Service Provider directly from the Website.
- In order to use the Contact form Service, you must have a valid mailbox address, which will be answered.
- In order to use the Contact form, it is compulsory to provide your first name, e-mail address and enter the content of your message.
- The data provided by the User, including the e-mail address, will only be used to respond to the extent indicated in the message.
- The response and any further correspondence are carried out through a direct e-mail exchange between the Service Provider and the User.
- You start using the Contact form Service when you start filling in the fields of the Contact form.
- The use of the Contact form Service is terminated when the message is successfully sent or the Contact Form tab is closed.
VII Newsletter subscription
- The Service Provider provides the Newsletter Service to those who have subscribed.
- The Newsletter may contain information about the Service Provider, the Researchers, the Service Provider’s products and projects, news about the Service Provider, or industry news.
- The information contained in the Newsletter may contain commercial information about the Service Provider and other industry players.
- In order to subscribe to the Newsletter, you must use the Newsletter subscription form on the Site and enter the email address to which the Newsletter Service is to be sent.
- The User can subscribe to the Newsletter at any time.
- Sending a completed Newsletter subscription form is tantamount to concluding a Newsletter Service Agreement.
- The Newsletter is sent as and when the needs and expectations of the Service Provider and the Subscribers arise.
- The User may unsubscribe from the Newsletter at any time, without stating any reason, with effect from the moment of unsubscription.
- To unsubscribe from the Newsletter, please send an unsubscribe in one of the following ways:
- use the option: “Unsubscribe from Newsletter” / “Unsubscribe” included in the last Newsletter;
- use the Contact form and inform about the cancellation in the content and indicate the e-mail address to which the cancellation applies;
- send the aforementioned cancellation information to the e-mail address: rodo@jjpbiologics.com.
- The Newsletter Service contract is terminated upon:
- fulfillment by the Service Provider of a request to remove the User from the Newsletter subscription;
- discontinuation of the Service by the Service Provider, having duly informed the User not less than 15 days prior to the termination of the Service.
VIII Social Media
- The Service Provider provides the Services in the Social Media of its choice:
- Fanpage on LinkedIn;
- channel on the youtube.com platform.
- Services provided in social media include:
- Social Media networking;
- the provision of content via Social Media, to the same extent as in the Content Delivery Service on the Website;
- posting and replying to comments made by Social Media users;
- conducting correspondence using the correspondence exchange tools available on Social Media;
- provision of Social Media plug-ins on the Website, exclusively to the extent of their posting on the Website.
- The Service Provider is responsible for the provision of the Services only to the above extent.
- The Service Provider shall provide the Services within the scope defined by the respective Social Media provider, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective Social Media platform.
- Irrespective of the provision of the aforementioned Services, the Service Provider is also a business user of Social Media and uses Social Media as a user within the scope of the Terms and Conditions of the respective platform.
- Independently of the Service Provider, each Social Media platform has a separate range of services that may be linked to the accounts of other users of that platform, including the Service Provider acting as a user. These are services of the respective platform and the Service Provider is not responsible for them.
- Employees and Researchers may have their own user accounts on the same Social Media platforms as the Service Provider. In particular, LinkedIn is used for business entities and individuals to build business relationships. Employees and Researchers may have a Social Media presence as individuals (have their own private social profiles) and be active as representatives of the Service Provider. The Service Provider does not exclude such activities and supports such initiatives; however, the Service Provider is not responsible for social profiles that are not the Service Provider’s official profiles. If there is any doubt about the legitimacy, reliability, or truthfulness of the activities of the personal accounts of persons claiming to represent the Service Provider, please report this directly to the Service Provider.
IX Intellectual property rights of the Website and personal rights of others
- All content on the Service Provider’s Website or Social Media is subject to the intellectual property rights of the Service Provider or others for whose use the Service Provider holds the relevant rights.
- All photographs and other materials containing images of natural persons are protected in accordance with the provisions of the Act on Copyright and Related Rights and the Civil Code.
- All personal data published on the Website and on Social Media is protected in accordance with applicable legislation, including the GDPR and the Civil Code.
- It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit or otherwise use any content, material, graphics, signage, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of the Service Provider.
X Rights and obligations of Website and Social Media Users
- When using the Services, the User is obliged to use only an e-mail address to which he/she has current access and the right to use it for correspondence addressed to the Service Provider.
- The use of an e-mail address to which the User does not have the corresponding right is prohibited, in particular:
- another person’s e-mail address, particularly without that person’s consent and knowledge. The use of another person’s e-mail address may constitute a violation of that person’s rights and may even constitute a criminal offense (e.g. the offense of identity theft);
- an e-mail address that may not be used by the User to communicate with the Service Provider (e.g. a business e-mail address for which the employer/domain owner has not given permission for its use to contact the Service Provider).
- The use of the Services may involve standard risks associated with the use of the Internet. Users must take appropriate measures to minimize the risks when using the Internet on their devices and on the network they use (to the extent appropriate to the User’s capabilities).
- Users are obliged to:
- comply with the provisions of these Rules;
- use of the Website for its intended purpose;
- to refrain from taking any action intended to compromise the integrity of the Service or interfere with its operation;
- not to take any action aimed at breaching the security of the Website or Social Media;
- activities that may infringe the intellectual property rights of the Service Provider or other natural or legal persons;
- publish advertisements for goods and services and any information of a commercial nature on the Website or Social Media;
- actions that may violate the personal interests of other Users, including the reproduction or use of photographs on the Website;
- not to upload content that is offensive, vulgar, in breach of the law, child pornography, or terrorist, racist, or discriminatory content;
- not to take any other unlawful action.
- The User is obliged to inform the Service Provider immediately of any disruption to the operation of the Site or of any breach of the Terms and Conditions by other Users.
XI Provider’s rights and obligations
- The Service Provider undertakes to provide the Services continuously and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
- The Service Provider reserves the right to temporarily interrupt the Services:
- planned due to the need to carry out scheduled maintenance and development activities;
- technical, caused by an error or technical failure.
- The Service Provider has the right to display technical messages on the Website.
- The Service Provider has the right to discontinue some or all Services for valid reasons.
- If the discontinuation concerns Services that are in progress (e.g. Newsletter), the discontinuation of Services shall take place after appropriate prior notification to Users.
- The Service Provider shall have the right to verify the compliance of the use of the Website and Social Media in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and to take any action to ensure that the use of the Services complies with the Terms and Conditions.
- In the event of the discovery of a breach of the Terms and Conditions, the Service Provider shall have the right, irrespective of any other action taken, to immediately discontinue the provision of the Services to the offending User or for whom there is a reasonable suspicion of a breach and to refuse to provide the Services in the future.
XII Complaints
- Each User has the right to lodge a complaint regarding the incorrect provision of the Services to him/her.
- The Service Provider reserves the right to change the status of a complaint into a complaint if the complaint does not relate to irregularities in the provision of the Services to the User.
- The Service Provider shall consider the complaint within 14 days of receiving all the required information.
- The complaint should include at least the User’s first name and e-mail address, an indication of the Service, a definition and description of the reason for the complaint, and a definition of the request.
- If the complaint concerns Social Media, the name of the User’s Social Media account must also be indicated.
- The complaint can be submitted electronically:

- at e-mail address: info@jjpbiologics.com
- A response to the complaint is provided to the e-mail address specified in the complaint.
- There is no right of appeal against the complaint.
XIII Final provisions
- The Terms and Conditions are valid indefinitely.
- The Terms and Conditions may be amended for important reasons, in particular:
- due to the need to carry out technical changes to enhance security or improve the operation of the Website;
- significant changes to the provision of the Services, e.g., the addition of new Services, changes to the terms and conditions of the current Services;
- the need for changes resulting from legislation or obligations.
- Users will be informed of any change at least 15 days in advance by posting information on the Website.
- If an amendment to the Terms and Conditions introduces changes to the Services or the terms and conditions of the Services in progress, Users using these Services will also be notified by e-mail.
- Any User may opt out of using the Services due to a change in the Terms and Conditions. In order to do so, a statement to this effect must be made within 14 days of receiving information about the change in the Terms and Conditions:

- The provisions of Polish law shall apply to the provision of the Services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory provisions in individual cases.
